The Delta Theta Chapter of the Chi Phi Fraternity originated in 2000 at Clemson University. They received their first charter in 2003 under the leadership of Kirk Thomas, one of the original founding fathers of Delta Theta. The chapter had a hiatus in membership until its recolonization in 2016.
The Chi Phi National Office came onto the Clemson Campus in the fall of 2016. A few students were invited to help with the colony’s growth and, under the advising of John Fisher and Brett Shaw, the recolonization of the Delta Theta Chapter at Clemson University formally began. After a few weeks of recruiting by new members and learning about the fraternity from Brothers Fisher and Shaw, thirty brothers were initiated as the re-founding fathers of Delta Theta on November 12th, 2016. This initiation was held at the Omega Chapter at Georgia Institute of Technology.Clemson Chi Phi WebsiteChi Phi Website
